Ring Entrance: "Face to Face" by Siousie & the Banshees starts from the PA system as Mercedes appears on the entranceway, hand on hip. Cheers, boos and catcalls soon greet her. Oblivious and yet satisfied with their reaction for several seconds, she flips her long hair, then makes her way to the ring. As she reaches the apron, she climbs to the turnbuckle, then turns her head back to show a determined expression-perhaps a message that her opponent will be in for a tough fight.
Biography: Remember the time somone asked you what you wanted to be when you grew up? For Mercedes Vargas, a professional wrestler was her flippant response to anyone who would dare ask her such a question. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Mercedes began her career as a model and singer, never realizing that her retort would actually become something she had a knack for. Still teasing with the idea, she moved to the United States and applied to one of the top wrestling schools in the nation. It was only after several officials realized she had potential, that Mercedes started taking wrestling seriously. Joining the independent curcuit, she continued trying to get her name recognized, while still modeling and singing. After her brief stint with other small-time promotions, she felt it was now time to showcase her talent to Divas Unleashed and to meet some worthy compeition.
Personality: Mercedes is full of herself, at least that how everyone else sees her. However, there is a fine line between walkin' the walk and talkin' the talk, and she delvs between both extremes; she can back up her words inside the squared circle and is not above tauting her opponents when she has the upper hand...or becoming sadistic if she doesn't. In the event that she isn't scheduled to compete, she usually makes herself comfortable near the announcer's table, scouting possible opponents.

Finisher Description: Inverted Death Valley Driver (aka, Burning Hammer). This maneuver is executed from an Argentine backbreaker rack (better known as a Torture Rack) position which sees Mercedes placing her opponent face-up across her own shoulders before hooking the opponent's head with one hand and a leg with the other. Mercedes then falls sideways, driving her opponent's head to the canvas.
